Beta tool disclaimer
AI and Bank Tool Beta Accuracy Disclaimer
Important accuracy, AI processing, wallet charge and verification notice for ATAX.IN bank statement tools.
Last updated: 13 July 20261. Beta Tool Status
Premium Bank Statement Analyser Tools and Bank Statement Ledger Analyzer are currently offered as beta tools. They are designed to help professionals and users prepare income-tax oriented working papers from bank statements, but they are not a final audited ledger, final computation, final balance sheet or final tax opinion.
Before ITR filing or professional use, reconcile output with original bank statements, books of account, invoices, GST returns, AIS/TIS/Form 26AS, loan records, capital records and supporting documents.
2. AI-Assisted Accuracy Limitation
The tools may use AI-assisted extraction, classification and summarisation. AI may misread narration, merge parties incorrectly, miss bank interest, classify transfers wrongly, or treat personal/business entries incorrectly. Human review is mandatory.
3. What the Output Means
- Output is a working paper and decision-support summary.
- T-format or financial statement sections are indicative, not final accounts.
- Flags help review important transactions, but they do not replace professional judgement.
- Opening/closing balance and totals should be matched with source statements.
4. Charges and Report Delivery
During beta, first 5 successful uploaded statements may be free per user account. After that, the current beta charge is Rs 1 per uploaded statement, deducted from wallet after successful report generation. Generated reports may be emailed to the logged-in user email where email delivery is available.
5. Data Processing
Original files are generally read in the browser where possible, while extracted text/transaction data may be sent securely for AI analysis. Users should not upload unrelated sensitive data or documents that they are not authorised to process.
6. User Confirmation Before Use
By using the bank tools, the user confirms that they understand the beta nature, AI limitations, wallet charge rules and the need for independent verification before relying on any output for ITR, accounting, audit, loan, GST or legal purposes.
